What is this about?

Hydrogen, when used by humans as an energy carrier has a huge potential to solve our planets CO2 emission challenges since it can be produced and used in a 100% sustainable way.

However, whilst much of the needed technology is already available we humans are still far from adopting it fully. Yes there are still improvements to be made (e.g. making all the hydrogen technology cheaper in comparison to conventional technologies) but this will only happen if we humans commit to it jointly.

This blog was created as part of a 24 hour rallye with hydrogen cars.

The rallye is a publicity measure to show that using hydrogen cars to drive around in Europe is easily possible and that one can have a lot of fun whilst doing that. So the target of all teams was to do the following:

Drive in a car for 24 hours across as many countries as possible, covering as many kilometers as possible
Visit as many landmark points as possible (A list of landmarks was provided in advance)
Earn creative points by making fun videos and great pictures and things like that.

Whilst we are all professionals and working in different areas of in or around the hydrogen industry, this site will also show a lot of not-so serious elements. We really had fun during the rallye and fun is important to us and it even gave us points the overall score.

So please take hydrogen serious – but not everything you see on this site. We were on the road for 24H2Challenge with so little sleep..
